ZDK Government demands urgent location solution for new KBZ building from City Administration and Council - Pivić: It is in the interest of all citizens!

(Patria) - The Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton on Friday sent a request to the City Council and City Administration of the City of Zenica for an urgent proposal of a solution to regulate property-legal relations in order to enable the normal functioning of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital.

The Cantonal Assembly, which is the founder of KBZ, was also informed about this.

- We also sent all the letters that KBZ sent to the City of Zenica. We believe that this issue should be resolved in accordance with the law, given that it is a public interest. City councilors should consider the manner of resolving this issue, in the way they resolved it with the private clinic, to which they ceded land within KBZ for the construction of a facility.

We also want to resolve the dilemma that, given that I recently announced that we are ready to pay the requested 10 million convertible marks by Mayor Kasumović for the land that it uses and will use, this is not about any kind of classic trade.

That is not possible even by law, but when we know what they want, we are ready, within a "friendly environment," to do or co-finance a project in the interest of the City of Zenica, stated Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.

According to Pivić, all projects, especially the new hospital, are in the interest of all citizens of that canton and beyond, and especially of the students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica, who do not have the opportunity to do internships in that city.

The projects, he said, will also enable a more pleasant working environment for employees, and thus the Zenica hospital will be more attractive for the return of some experts who left that institution, as well as for attracting the missing quality medical staff.

The new building of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital should have about 810 beds.
