TK Government Adopts Amendments to the Civil Service Law

(Patria) - The Government of Tuzla Canton (TK) at an emergency session adopted amendments to the proposed Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Civil Service Law in Tuzla Canton, as well as opinions on the submitted amendments by deputies.

The Government also accepted the text of the Agreement on determining the basis for salary calculation, minimum wage, meal allowance during work (hot meal) and annual leave allowance (vacation pay) for all civil servants and employees in cantonal civil service bodies and judicial authorities of Tuzla Canton in 2024, which will be concluded between the Government of Tuzla Canton and the Independent Union of Civil Servants and Employees in Civil Service Bodies, Judicial Authorities and Public Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, bearing in mind the necessity of calculating the salary for the month of April, with the agreed increase for employees in the field of higher education, the Government today gave consent to the Rulebook on amending the Rulebook on groups of jobs and tasks, conditions for their performance and framework coefficients for salary calculation in public higher education institutions.

Bearing in mind the current situation and the number of employed police officers compared to the number of officers provided for by the Rulebook, as well as the planned retirement of police officers, the Government today gave consent to the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton for the recruitment of 230 officers in the rank of police officer, as well as 20 officers in the rank of junior inspector, for an indefinite period.
