Government Allocates 267,000 KM: Which Athletes and Clubs Received Funds

Based on the Decree on Determining Criteria for Awarding Prizes to Athletes, Sports Workers, and Sports Associations from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and based on top sports results, the Government of the Federation of BiH today made several decisions on awarding prizes, reports the Patria News Agency.

The Swimming Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has awarded a cash prize of 3,000 KM to national team member Ensad Hajder for achieving a senior national record at the World Aquatics Championships (25-meter pool) - Doha, Qatar, and his coach a prize of 1,500 KM (50 percent of the athlete's prize).

Karate Club „Nokachi“ from Sarajevo has been awarded a prize of 3,000 KM for Admir Zukan, a karate national team member of Bosnia and Herzegovina, winner of a bronze medal at the 22nd World Senior Karate Championships in Bremen in 2014 in individual competition.

The Athletics Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been awarded a prize of 10,000 KM for Amel Tuka's bronze medal, a member of Athletics Club „Zenica“ from Zenica, at the World Senior Championships held on August 25, 2015, in Beijing in the 800-meter race, and his coach 5,000 KM.

Additionally, the Athletics Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has awarded a prize of 5,000 KM to Hamza Alić, a member of Athletics Club „Zenica“, for achieving the norm for participation in the Olympic Games - Rio 2016 in the shot put discipline, and 5,000 KM to Amel Tuka, a member of the same athletics club, in the 800-meter running discipline.

Table Tennis Club Spin 2012 from Sarajevo has been awarded a prize of 2,500 KM for Emina Hadžiahmetović, winner of the senior national champion title in individual competition for the 2014/2015 season.

Table Tennis Club Spin 2012 has been awarded a prize of 7,000 KM for winning the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina title for women for the 2014/2015 season.

Women's Football Club SFK 2000 from Sarajevo has been awarded a cash prize of 15,000 KM for winning first place in the Premier Women's League of Bosnia and Herzegovina competition for the 2014/2015 season in the senior category.

Table Tennis Club „Mostar“ has been awarded a prize of 7,000 KM for winning the national champion title and the BiH Cup in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in table tennis in the men's competition for the 2014/2015 season.

Women's Basketball Club Čelik from Zenica has been awarded a prize of 15,000 KM for winning the BiH championship title in the 2014/2015 season.

Football Club Sarajevo has been awarded a prize of 15,000 KM for winning the championship title of Bosnia and Herzegovina in football in the BH Telecom Premier League of BiH in the senior category for the 2014/2015 season.

Taekwondo Academy „Olovo“ from Olovo has been awarded a prize of 2,500 KM for Fatima Bjelić, winner of the title of best senior in individual competition for 2015 at the 13th BiH Senior Championship.

Croatian Taekwondo Club „Hvojnica“ from Fojnica has been awarded a prize of 2,500 KM for the best senior, Stjepan Grubešić, winner of the BiH champion title in individual competition in 2015.

The Judo Federation of the Federation of BiH has been awarded a prize of 5,000 KM for Toni Miletić's third place at the U-18 World Judo Championships in Sarajevo in 2015, and his coach Arijana Jaha 2,500 KM.

The Basketball Federation of BiH, cadet national team, has been awarded a prize of 33,500 KM for winning the gold medal at the European Cadet Championship - Lithuania 2015.

These awards will be paid from the funds allocated in the "Transfers for Sports of Significance for the Federation" by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, totaling 140,000 KM.

From the "Current Reserve of the Government of the Federation" of the FBiH Budget for 2015, a total of 127,000 KM has been approved for allocation to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports. Of this amount, 15,000 KM has been approved for the Croatian Women's Handball Club „Grude Autoherc“.

The Judo Federation of FBiH has been approved 15,000 KM for awards for athlete Aleksandra Samardžić 5,000 KM and her coach Branislav Crnogorac 2,500 KM, Harun Sadiković 5,000 KM and his coach Arijana Jaha 2,500 KM. The Judo Federation of FBiH has also been approved an amount of 22,500 KM, of which 15,000 KM is for Aleksandra Samardžić and 7,500 KM for her coach Branislav Crnogorac.

 

An amount of 67,500 KM has been approved for the Volleyball Federation of BiH for awards, for 12 athletes at 5,000 KM each, and for the coach and two assistants at 2,500 KM each. An amount of 7,000 KM has also been approved for Rugby Club „Čelik“.
