(Patria) - In the latest issue of the Official Gazette of Sarajevo Canton, published on September 4, a decision of the Government of Sarajevo Canton was announced suspending the execution of the Decision on the appointment of members of the Supervisory Board of the public enterprise "Television of Sarajevo Canton", d.o.o. Sarajevo, number 03-51/25 of August 8, 2025.
The Government of Sarajevo Canton adopted this decision on August 21, just thirteen days after the TVSA Assembly made the decision on the appointment of members of the Supervisory Board. At that time, Vedran Fajković, Enver Kazaz and Avdija Hasanović were dismissed, while Avdija Hasanović was reappointed, along with new members Dženana Bećirević and Maja Miralem.
According to information from Patria, disagreements arose within the parties of the Troika due to changes in the composition of the Supervisory Board, leading the Government to suspend the decision.
Incidentally, the TVSA Assembly makes the decision in consultation with the Government of Sarajevo Canton, whose representative is involved, so it is evident that turbulence occurred within the SDP, NIP and Our Party.
It should also be recalled that the appointment of Avdija Hasanović has been under public scrutiny due to events at the Otoka Swimming Pool, where he is the director. A group of parents of children with developmental disabilities who have swimming lessons at that pool launched an initiative to remove Hasanović due to unauthorized recording of children and a ban on swimming. Hasanović has been a member of the TVSA Supervisory Board since 2019.
