KS Government Approves Payment of Holiday Bonus: Public Sector Employees to Receive 814 KM Each

(Patria) - The KS Government, at yesterday's extraordinary session, passed a conclusion ordering budget users to pay holiday bonuses to employees entitled to annual leave in 2025.

The holiday bonus amounts to 50% of the average net salary paid in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to the latest published statistical data from the Federal Statistical Office.

The Federal Statistical Office published data on the average monthly paid salary for July on September 16, which amounted to 1,628 KM.

Therefore, the holiday bonus for public sector employees in the Canton of Sarajevo should amount to 814 KM.

Payment of the holiday bonus is expected next week. The holiday bonus was previously paid to healthcare sector employees, as that money is paid from the budget of the Health Insurance Fund, as well as to judges and prosecutors in KS.
