KS GOVERNMENT Heating bills to increase by 3.98 percent from June 1, will water and waste disposal prices follow?

(Patria) - The KS Government, at its session held on May 29, adopted a decision on the tariff rates for KJKP Toplane-Sarajevo, which came into effect on June 1.

KJKP Toplane-Sarajevo confirmed for Patria that heating prices will increase by 3.98 percent.

The Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Construction, Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection has repeatedly emphasized that the prices of communal services have not changed for years, as is the case with KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija and KJKP Rad.

The VIK company requested a 50 percent increase in water prices, and the Prime Minister of KS, Nihad Uk, stated that the KS Government will make a final decision, but it will certainly not be 50 percent. The price increase will be subsidized for certain categories of the population.

An increase in waste disposal services is also announced, but there is no information on the amount at the moment.

The KJKP Pokop company also requested an increase in service prices, as they have not changed since 1996.
