(Patria) - The Canton of Sarajevo is definitively facing financial difficulties in its functioning.

According to information that is sparingly reaching the public, payments of salaries, but also other fees to budget users are increasingly questionable, and it is not uncommon for an "obstacle to payment" to be artificially created, in order to hide from the public eye that the cantonal treasury is almost empty.

The Patria Agency has learned that those engaged under service contracts, of which there is a significant number in Nihad Uka's current government, have not yet received their fees for the month of November.

We remind you that there were also problems with salary payments to UNSA employees, as well as with social benefits, so funds were only paid to social protection beneficiaries in KS today.

If we add to this the fact that recently more and more trade union organizations are expressing dissatisfaction, it is clear that the Troika's KS Government faces a difficult winter and a hot spring.

Whether they will succeed in changing such a situation through the budget for 2025, or whether the squandering of money will come due, remains to be seen in 2025.
