The Government of Sarajevo Canton, led by Elmedin Dino Konaković, has not done much for the citizens of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo, writes the Patria News Agency.
Although this Government is called an expert government, an insight into the biographies of the ministers and the prime minister himself unfortunately shows that this composition is far from expert, at least when it comes to the departments that certain people lead, and they have completed studies of profiles that do not meet that level.
The KS Government was confirmed on March 23, 2015, and the truth is that ministers from DF were also elected to its composition at that time, who were later dismissed after the SDA-DF coalition broke up, and ministers from SBB were appointed.
In the current composition of the KS Government, as many as two ministers and the prime minister completed their studies at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, and many ministers graduated or obtained master's degrees at a mature age.
However, no greater experts sit in the assembly benches of this canton either, so the president of the KS Assembly is Ana Babić, a singing professor.
She graduated from the Music Academy in Sarajevo, majoring in solo singing. In 1983, she began working at the National Theatre in Sarajevo, and as a member of the opera ensemble, she participated in all projects until 1990. During the war years, she remained in her native Sarajevo and from 1992 to 1996 was an active participant in all cultural, musical, and artistic projects organized by the City, the Music Academy, and especially HKD "Napredak".
Sabahudin Delalić, deputy speaker of the Assembly, was born in Sarajevo, and he also obtained a master's degree in sports from the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education in Sarajevo. He was a member of the Army of BiH from 1992-1995, a war invalid of 70% (amputee). Delalić was the head of the security sector at "Energopetrol" from 1998 to 2006.
He was a representative in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton from 2006 to 2010, when he became their employee until 2012. He is a professional associate on teaching and scientific process programs in the field of physical education at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Sarajevo. As a representative of BiH in sitting volleyball, he achieved great sports successes.
Sejo Bukva, the second deputy speaker, was born on September 16, 1966. He is a celebrated basketball player who played for 11 clubs in his career, which lasted from 1988 to almost 2007. After finishing his playing career, he founded the basketball school "Koš" which organized a basketball tournament on April 5 and 6, 2008, on the occasion of the Day of the Liberation of Sarajevo. This school was attended by over 100 boys and girls from all city municipalities of the capital of BiH in its first year.
