FBiH Government: Over 765,000 KM for linking service for 16 Kreka Coal Mine workers

(Patria) - The FBiH Government today, at a telephone session, upon the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, adopted the Decision on the adoption of the Program for the expenditure of funds with distribution criteria, under the Program - Environmental and Nature Protection and Waste Management with Environmental Improvement.

The decision was made within the framework of current transfers to other levels of government and funds - Action Plan of the Environmental Strategy, as determined by the FBiH budget for 2026, to this ministry, in the amount of 1,660,000 KM.

In accordance with this decision, funds are distributed to 10 programs.

Funds in the amount of 500,000 KM each are distributed to programs for the remediation and removal of unsanitary (wild) waste landfills located in FBiH, and co-financing of the project for the remediation and removal of hazardous waste from the industrial zone of the city of Tuzla, located within the former "Chlor-Alkali Combine" (HAK) factories.

Funds in the amount of 100,000 KM each are planned for co-financing programs for the preparation of Expert Justification for the declaration of Ravna Vala as a protected area on Bjelašnica mountain, as well as co-financing the preparation of Expert Justification for the declaration of Čemerska planina - Misoča canyon as a protected area.

Also, 60,000 KM is planned for co-financing the preparation of Expert Justification for the protection of the Klisura Čude area, Olovo, 110,000 KM for co-financing the preparation of Expert Justification for the declaration of the Cave System in Tomislavgrad municipality as a protected area, and 70,000 KM for co-financing the preparation of Expert Justification for the declaration of Hukavica Cave, Velika Kladuša as a protected area.

The decision also distributes 60,000 KM for co-financing the preparation of Expert Justification for the declaration of Bliha Waterfall as a protected area, Sanski Most, and the same amount for co-financing the preparation of Expert Justification for the declaration of Semešnica - Plazenica as a protected area, Donji Vakuf.

Funds are also distributed for the collection and disposal of floating waste from the rivers Bosna, Neretva, Drina, Una, and Vrbas, in the amount of 100,000 KM.

Linking Service

Upon the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, the FBiH Government adopted the Decision on the payment of overdue unpaid contributions for pension and disability insurance for linking the service of workers of Kreka Coal Mine d.o.o. Tuzla.

The decision approves Kreka Coal Mine d.o.o. - Tuzla to link the service for unpaid contributions for pension and disability insurance for 16 workers who have met the conditions for retirement, in the total amount of 765,930.87 KM.

These funds will be paid from the funds of Kreka Coal Mine d.o.o. Tuzla.

The Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo, Kreka Coal Mine d.o.o. Tuzla, the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute, and the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH are tasked with implementing this decision.
