FBiH Government: Over 11.7 million KM in financial aid for 16,741 private employers

(Patria) - The FBiH Government, at an emergency telephone session, adopted the Decision on determining the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities in FBiH with the aim of maintaining existing jobs for February 2025.

The total funds for the implementation of this decision, amounting to 11,732,250 KM, have been secured in the Budget of the Federation of BiH for the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and are allocated to 16,741 beneficiaries.

Part of these funds, in the amount of 2,257,550 KM, is allocated to 3,045 beneficiaries whose appeals to the Decision on determining the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for January 2025 have been accepted.

The Decision determines the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities for February 2025 and the amount of allocated funds under the Decree on measures of financial aid for private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities in the Federation of BiH with the aim of maintaining existing jobs this year.

The final list of beneficiaries of financial aid also includes the list of beneficiaries whose appeals to the Decision on determining the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for January 2025 have been accepted.

The final list of beneficiaries of financial aid will be published on the websites of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts.

The transfer of financial aid funds to the beneficiaries' transaction accounts will be carried out by Union Bank in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts based on this decision.

The Federal Ministries of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, and Finance, as well as the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH and Union Bank, are tasked with implementing this decision, each within their jurisdiction and obligations in accordance with the Decree.

As explained, the reason for adopting this decision is the implementation of the Decree, which aims to ensure sustainability, preserve existing jobs, and provide liquidity support to private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities in 2025.
