The FBiH Government, at today's session, made four decisions on approving the allocation of funds from the "Current Reserve of the FBiH Government" of the FBiH Budget for 2014 to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, reports the Patria News Agency.
An amount of 140,000 convertible marks was approved as a prize for the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for winning first place at the World Championship in Sitting Volleyball held in Poland this year. An amount of 4,500 KM was approved for the Athletics Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Sarajevo, of which 3,000 KM is for Amel Tuka for setting a senior national record in the 800-meter race at the European Senior Championship, and 1,500 KM for his coach.
The Women's Basketball Club Čelik from Zenica was approved 15,000 KM for winning first place in the BiH Championship for women's basketball in the 2013/2014 season, and the Futsal Club Centar from Sarajevo was approved 10,000 KM for winning first place in the Premier Futsal League of BiH in the 2014/2015 season.
At the same time, the Federal Government today gave its consent for financial support to the Athletics Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the preparations and participation of BiH representatives in official international competitions, in the amount of 30,000 KM.
Consent was also given to the initiative to allocate 10,000 KM to the WKF Karate Federation of FBiH for the participation of representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 22nd World Championship for seniors in Bremen.
Today, information was accepted and consent was given for the Weightlifting Club Željezničar to be allocated support of 5,000 KM for the participation of representative Olivera Jurić in the World Weightlifting Championship in Kazakhstan.
The Federal Ministry of Finance will, at the request of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, prepare a decision on the allocation of these funds for the next session.
