FBiH Government: October 8th Day of Mourning in FBiH

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's emergency session, adopted a Decision declaring October 8, 2024, as the Day of Mourning in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to victims of floods and landslides in the area of FBiH. The decision is made to express condolences and
sympathy with the victims' families.

The Day of Mourning shall be observed by mandatory flying of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at half-mast, or on the flagpole, on the buildings of legislative, executive, and judicial authorities, public institutions, institutions, and other legal entities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the Day of Mourning, cultural and entertainment programs of a public nature may not be held in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Media houses in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are obliged to harmonize and adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning.

This decision enters into force on the day it is adopted and will be published in the "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH".
