High temperatures deform railway track between Čelinac and Vrbanja stations

(Patria) - The Railways of the Republika Srpska entity inform the public that due to high temperatures in the afternoon hours, deformations occurred on the railway track between the stations Čelinac-Vrbanja, due to which traffic on the Banjaluka–Čelinac route is temporarily suspended.

From the Railways of RS, they state that alternative transport has been provided for passengers.

The competent services of the Railways of RS are on the ground, monitoring the situation and preparing the works necessary for the repair of the track deformities.

They are taking all necessary measures to preserve the safety of railway traffic under conditions of high summer temperatures, the statement said.
