The City Hall, one of Sarajevo's tourist attractions, has also been a place for tying the knot since last Saturday. This fulfills the promise made by the City Administration of Sarajevo, along with Mayor Ivo Komšić, at the opening of this unique gem to the public in July last year, the Patria News Agency reported.
Since then, the City Hall has been visited by over 60,000 citizens of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as tourists from all continents, and from now on, this landmark will also be a place offering young couples the opportunity to celebrate the most important day of their lives.
The first wedding was held in the representative Ceremonial Hall, which, like the building itself, was built in the pseudo-Moorish style with decorative elements of oriental architecture. The authentic beauty of the ambiance was enhanced by appropriate furniture, including chairs and tables with covers in the characteristic white color, arranged for this occasion. Floral decorations, music, and classic retro lighting make the hall even more festive.
Most of those who have registered so far are our citizens from abroad. Given the growing interest and inquiries from our citizens, the City of Sarajevo will make the wedding offer even richer to ensure that the happiest day in the lives of the newlyweds is truly – the happiest and most unforgettable!
Mayor Komšić will also send congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds.
