Council of Ministers of BiH secures funds for return of BiH citizens from Italy to homeland

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH today, at an extraordinary telephone session, adopted a Decision on the evacuation of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Republic of Italy and approved 50 thousand BAM from the current budget reserve for this purpose.

A charter flight on the Sarajevo – Rome – Sarajevo route will be provided for the return of all citizens of BiH who, according to the records of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, are currently in Italy, within the next day or two. Among the citizens of BiH in Italy, the most numerous are young basketball players who attended sports school in Italy.

After landing in Sarajevo, all passengers will, according to the recommendations of health institutions, be sent to quarantine in a location in accordance with their place of residence.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina is tasked with preparing lists of citizens who will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with their place of residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the competent authorities, in order to send them to quarantine.
