Council of Ministers of BiH did not make a decision on Zoran Galić tonight either

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not make a decision tonight regarding the fugitive Deputy Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).

After the time allocated for voting expired during an extraordinary telephone session, it was determined that there was no quorum. Specifically, not a single minister of Bosniak nationality voted.

Thus, we will have to wait to see whether Zoran Galić will be dismissed or relieved of duty. Ministers of Serb and Croat nationality are seeking for Galić to be relieved of duty, while Bosniak ministers insist on his dismissal. The difference lies in the fact that being relieved of duty comes with certain benefits, while dismissal does not offer those options.

We remind you that the suspect Galić, after receiving information about the investigation against him on July 8, 2024, illegally crossed the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the afternoon and fled to the Republic of Croatia, where he is currently located.

Subsequently, through his lawyer, he informed the public that he was on sick leave, but the Prosecutor's Office of BiH nevertheless requested a red notice for Galić.
