Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Discuss Draft Law on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Again Today

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to consider a new text of the Draft Law on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, proposed by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The ministers considered this draft law at last week's session as well, but did not vote on it.

Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto then told reporters that they were supposed to vote on a very important law concerning, among other things, meeting the criteria for opening EU accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely the law on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but they did not vote at the session.

"The relevant minister proposed that they need an additional five to seven days, so we postponed the vote on this important law to the session scheduled for March 19," Krišto stated at the time.

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina should also consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Other Compensations in Judicial and Prosecutorial Institutions at the Level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Administrative Fees.
