Council of Ministers of BiH adopts decision on interim financing of institutions

The Council of Ministers of BiH, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, adopted the Decision on Interim Financing of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period January – March 2015, because both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which adopt the state budget in accordance with the Law on Financing, have not yet been constituted, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Interim financing for 2015 in the period January – March has been set at 237,500,000.00 BAM and is at the level of one quarter of the funds approved for financing institutions in accordance with the Budget Law of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations for 2014.

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted this decision to prevent any threat to servicing the external debt and to ensure the continuation of financing for multi-year projects and other obligations at the level of institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the payment of salaries and allowances for employees in state institutions.
