Council of Ministers of BiH adopts decisions on allocation of funds for sports, cultural, and scientific projects

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH held its 71st extraordinary session and made several decisions on the last day of 2025.

At the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, it adopted the Decision on the allocation of funds intended for the current grant "Co-financing of Sports Events" for 2025. The decision allocates a total of 1,342,000 KM from the budget of the Ministry of Civil Affairs to 179 beneficiaries.

Of this amount, a total of 800,000 KM is allocated to the Olympic Committee of BiH, the Paralympic Committee of BiH, sports federations registered in BiH, and sports federations of persons with disabilities registered in BiH, while 542,000 KM is intended for sports clubs organizing or participating in international sports events.

Among the largest recipients are the Olympic Committee of BiH with 130,000 KM, the Paralympic Committee of BiH with 55,000 KM, and the Volleyball Federation of BiH with 35,000 KM. The decision obliges beneficiaries to conclude agreements on the use of funds with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.

The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, adopted the Decision on the allocation of funds intended for the current grant "International Cultural Cooperation" for 2025.

Within the current grant "International Cultural Cooperation" for 2025, the Council of Ministers of BiH allocated 320,000 KM for a total of 42 projects of various cultural institutions and associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, adopted the Decision on the allocation of funds from the current grant "Co-financing of Cultural Projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina" for 2025.

Within the current grant "Co-financing of Cultural Projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina" for 2025, the Council of Ministers of BiH allocated 3,097,000 KM to a total of 258 cultural institutions and associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, adopted the Decision on the allocation of funds from the "Grant for the Implementation of Bilateral Cooperation Projects in the Field of Science Based on International Agreements" for 2025. A total of 100,000 KM was allocated to support scientific projects at various universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The University of Banja Luka was allocated 35,000 KM, the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar 2,000 KM; the University of East Sarajevo 5,000 KM; the University of Tuzla 17,000 KM; the University of Mostar 10,000 KM, and the University of Sarajevo 31,000 KM.

These funds are intended to strengthen bilateral cooperation in science and will be allocated to the accounts of the universities, which will carry out further distribution to their organizational units according to the approved projects.
