Visibility reduced along river courses due to fog, pay attention to ongoing works

(Patria) - On certain sections in valleys and along river courses, and in some higher areas, visibility is reduced this morning due to fog or low clouds, and the road surface is also damp in places due to rain that fell during the night.

Increased vehicle traffic is expected in the coming hours on city roads, as well as on the approaches to city centers. Due to frequent landslides, we advise special caution on the sections: Turbe-Banja Luka, Crna Rijeka-Mrkonjić Grad, Sarajevo-Foča-Šćepan Polje and Višegrad-Ustiprača-Rogatica. Drive carefully and obey all traffic regulations.

Work on repairing the guardrail along the Zenica-Doboj main road (on the Donja Vraca-Liješnica section) begins today. Every day (except Sunday), from 09:00 to 19:00, traffic will be slowed down, with alternating passage.

Works are also ongoing on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Konjic-Jablanica (bridge near Crnaja tunnel), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Jajce-Crna Rijeka and Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci).

Until 26.09, due to ongoing works, traffic is suspended on the regional road Bileća-GP Deleuša from 08:00 to 15:00. During the suspension, traffic is redirected to GP Klobuk (Trebinje-Nikšić).

Due to necessary works, traffic on the entry lane (from the direction of the Republic of Croatia) at the Gradiška border crossing is temporarily suspended, which significantly slows down traffic flow during the day. Until the completion of the works, it is recommended to use other border crossings. At other border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles do not exceed 10 to 30 minutes.

Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass is prohibited at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use Šepak GP. Trucks can travel through Šepak GP from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross from 22:00 to 06:00).
