Traffic is difficult throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina due to falling snow, writes the Patria News Agency.
Photos from the Sarajevo-Tuzla road show the extent to which snow is hindering traffic, with the most difficult situation at the Stanovi and Karaula passes. Drivers stuck in the traffic jam tell Patria that they are listening to radio stations and hoping the snow will stop.
Due to new snowfall, traffic for trucks is banned on the M-14.2 Bosanski Petrovac-Oštrelj road, according to BIHAMK, reports Patria.
- On other roads, traffic is mostly on wet surfaces with occasional packed snow on sections in higher mountain areas. We highlight the following roads: Sarajevo-Olovo-Kladanj, Sarajevo- Vlasenica-HanPijesak, Gornji Vakuf-Prozor, Kotor Varoš -Teslić, Turbe-Banja Luka, and Gacko-Tjenište. Due to low temperatures, icy patches are possible, so we appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment, which is legally mandatory until April 15 - says BIHAMK.
