(VIDEO) MYSTERY AND DOUBT IN A VILLAGE NEAR OLOVO Is Hamid Ferhatović missing or murdered, who and why is slowing down the investigation?

Every hour, not day, is important. I don't understand why such an investigation is being conducted, because special forces, helicopters, drones should be in the field… Especially since a possible murder is suspected. This is how an experienced police officer explained the situation with the sluggish investigation into the disappearance of Hamid Ferhatović to the reporters of the Patria agency. We called him from Gornji Čuništa, where the family explained to us why they suspect a neighbor and why they are resentful of the police and the prosecution.

Hamid left home around 10 a.m. on May 30. His disappearance was reported approximately five hours later. What happened in the meantime gives the family reason to suspect. Namely, around 12 p.m., a neighbor (whose identity we cannot disclose) arrived in front of Hamid's house and accused Hamid of hitting his vehicle with a log. Although he called the police because of this, he left the scene he described, and went after Hamid from his home with the remark "I know where he's hiding, I'll find him".

In the afternoon, Hamid Ferhatović's family began to suspect something and started checking the usual locations he frequented. However, without success. They then alerted the police and the Mountain Rescue Service.

The neighbor returned to the story, asking who was leading the investigation, who last saw Hamid, and so on. He admitted to the family that he had moved the logs that he had previously said had hit the lower part of the vehicle. The family realized that this was impossible, as Hamid did not carry a chainsaw, and the oak tree was felled with a saw.

Then they reported their suspicions to the police, where they learned that inspectors from Zenica had said that it was unnecessary to conduct a polygraph test on the neighbor, as it was not valid evidence in court. The neighbor's phone was not examined, nor were some other things he took out of the garage late at night.
 
As Hamid's brother-in-law (wife's brother) Dželil Sokolar testified for Patria, neighbors, relatives, GSS, special forces, BiH Armed Forces and Civil Protection, hunters, searched the entire possible terrain where Hamid could have moved.

That is why the family is protesting because the investigation has not been expanded. Sokolar, in a conversation with Patria, believes that they would have found Hamid if he had been in the area where he could have moved.

"The neighbor has cast suspicion on himself with a million questions and appearing in front of the house, and the message that he would find him. The most important thing for us is that the body is found, that the truth is established."

In an attempt to find the truth, the family also requested the involvement of the Federal Police Administration. Vahidin Munjić, director of FUP, told Patria that this would happen if the Zenica-Doboj Canton Prosecutor's Office decided so.

And the Zenica-Doboj Canton Prosecutor's Office says that they have sent Hamid's found axe for DNA analysis. "Within the mentioned case, this Prosecutor's Office has issued an Order for DNA analysis of the found item, and certain witnesses have been interviewed. The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Zenica-Doboj, together with police agencies, continues to take all legally prescribed measures and actions in order to find the missing person," the Zenica-Doboj Canton Prosecutor's Office told Patria.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton also responded with information that they are doing their part, and asked citizens not to fall for disinformation.

Essentially, everyone is doing their job, but there is no final result, i.e., the finding of Hamid Ferhatović or his body. It is evident that something is not going according to plan in the investigation, especially since the family testifies to the nonchalance and even rude approach of some police officers.

The only known fact in this whole story is Hamid's unknown fate. Everything else must be revealed by the investigation. And someone must conduct the investigation. At the pace it has been conducted so far, it is questionable whether the Ferhatović family will ever find out the truth!
