VIDEO/ Commemoration and final farewell to Halid Bešlić in Sarajevo

(Patria) - At the National Theatre Sarajevo, relatives, citizens, friends and colleagues will gather for a commemoration as a final farewell to Halid Bešlić, a legend of folk music who with his voice for years connected generations and hearts.

On Susan Sontag Theatre Square, an LED screen has been set up through which citizens who cannot enter the National Theatre will be able to follow the commemoration.

The funeral prayer will be performed at 1:30 PM in the courtyard of the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque.

From Halid Bešlić's management, they stated that the procession with the vehicle carrying his body, after the funeral prayer at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, will move through Ferhadija Street and join the main street at the Eternal Flame.

Yesterday, a series of gatherings were organized in his honor in more than 150 cities around the world. All of them paid tribute to a man who was an expression of the soul of our people, to whose interpretation people for decades rejoiced, fell in love, and even mourned.
