A video recording from the last session of the Assembly of the Bosansko-Podrinjski Canton, through the questions of most deputies, revealed the games of certain football fixers who have been "privatizing the cantonal association of BPK for years.
And not only that, the Assembly also exposed the role of certain individuals in the BPK Government, who, in addition to numerous functions and privileges, "voluntarily" perform the roles of prosecutors, disciplinary judges, and protectors of federal powerful figures.
Emir Sijerčić is a collector of various positions. And he brags about it. When one of the deputies called him out, he lectured that he was "ready to withdraw" because he didn't need anything similar.
However, this is not the first time that Sijerčić, in crisis situations, announces his withdrawal, and afterwards accumulates even more positions. The more than interesting video from the Assembly revealed that urgent changes are necessary.
Sijerčić often criticized the Ministry of Justice from the assembly podium. Fingers were pointed at individuals who, consciously or unconsciously, instead of protecting the rule of law, violated regulations themselves.
It was revealed at the assembly that the Cantonal Association of BPK is illegal because they have not held assemblies for years, which they are legally obliged to do. Most delegates sought an answer as to why the cantonal association discriminates against certain clubs, specifically highlighting the injustice towards FK Gazije, whose membership fees the cantonal association regularly collects, but does not grant them the right to a delegate.
Mirso Drljević, a long-time member of the Executive Board of the Football Association of FBiH, expressed panic from the podium about what would happen to Drina if a Municipal Football Association were established, which is mandatory by law. It is obvious that this would be the end of the power and totalitarian rule of certain football fixers.
The case of Goražde, or the (il)legal assembly of the BPK FA, revealed the murky role of some individuals in power, who have allowed fixers to keep local football and clubs in the dark for years. And all for personal gain. This, as well as the case of some other controversial assemblies in the Federation, has ended up in court, and individuals from the government have dragged their departments into murky football waters.
