Mountain biking" or "montibajking" is increasingly popular in Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the Patria News Agency.

Enthusiasts of this relatively young branch of cycling, both recreationally and competitively, are constantly growing, and the mountain bike itself, due to its robustness, comfort, and practical design, is increasingly displacing other types of bicycles from everyday use.

Enthusiasts across BiH are clearing areas suitable for mountain biking, and what it looks like in Kakanj is shown in the video, which was filmed yesterday.

Also yesterday, an informal group of Zenica residents, enthusiasts and lovers of extreme sports and mountain biking, tidied up Zenica's Smetovi, the area where a mountain bike trail will be built next year.

Zenica's Smetovi is a favorite picnic spot for local residents, abounding in terrain for sports activities, and from next year, a mountain bike trail will be built there.
