SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Denis Bećirović, candidate for member of the Presidency of BiH, spent time with citizens in the center of Sarajevo today.
Bećirović, together with Saša Magazinović, the list holder of the SDP for the Parliament of BiH, talked with citizens of Sarajevo about what he intends to do if he receives their support in the upcoming elections.
– My project and my candidacy is a joint project with the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is no doubt that the ruling parties will “win” in their commissioned polls in the coming days, and I, together with the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will convincingly win on October 7. My goal is not to divide the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, my goal is to gather all Bosnian-Herzegovinian patriotic forces. That is why seven political parties have supported me so far and that is why I have great support from citizens throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bećirović said in a statement to the gathered journalists.
During the gathering with citizens, in front of the Sarajevo Cathedral, a group of tourists from faraway Brazil passed by, who asked who the man was with whom passersby were taking selfies and photos. When they heard that it was a candidate for the Presidency of BiH and possibly the future president of the country, they wanted to take a photo with him as well. They introduced themselves, where they were from, and asked Bećirović if he knew where Brazil is. Instead of an answer, Bećirović asked them a counter-question, whether they knew the composition of Brazil from 1986, at which they just looked at each other, and they were even more amazed when Bećirović dictated the lineup.
