MAJOR RECOGNITION Bosnian tennis player Aldin Šetkić nominated to represent European players

(Patria) - Bosnian tennis player Aldin Šetkić has been nominated by a large number of tennis players from Europe, including the Balkans, to be part of the International Tennis Organization's Players' Council for the upcoming period.

Namely, the umbrella World Tennis Organization is forming a Players' Council consisting of seven tennis players from around the world, and Bosnian tennis player Aldin Šetkić has received the honor of representing Europe as a member of this body, along with the support of a large number of players.

"Among other things, I will fight for financial assistance for every ITF player, an amount depending on the ATP ranking, a minimum of $1,000, for health insurance, new balls for practice on-site, the removal of fees for MD and Q players, more hospitality in the future, and tournaments must not charge players for entry into facilities, even if they are not staying in the official hotel," said Šetkić, emphasizing once again that he has received great support from players in the region, which makes him particularly happy, but also represents a great responsibility, which he can and wants to fulfill.

Also, what should be highlighted is that Šetkić, in addition to players from the region, has been supported by players from all over the world, and he has particular support from players from the Balkans who are in the TOP 100 on the ATP list.

It is a great honor and privilege to be on the International Tennis Organization's Players' Council, and if Aldin Šetkić is elected to this body, it will represent a historic success for Bosnian tennis.
