Severe storm with hail hits Tuzla Canton, damaging vehicles and residential buildings

(Patria) - In the evening hours, a storm accompanied by thunder, strong wind gusts and hail hit the Tuzla Canton.

The hardest hit were Doboj Istok, Gračanica, Živinice, Tuzla and other towns, the Federal Civil Protection Administration announced.

"According to information from the field, in some settlements hail the size of a tennis ball fell. A large number of cars were damaged due to dents and shattered windshields. In many residential buildings, the hail broke roof tiles. A large number of greenhouses were destroyed. Agriculture and fruit growing suffered great losses. Teams of the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration are on the ground, recording the damage," states the emergency information from the Federal Civil Protection Administration regarding the situation in the Tuzla Canton area.

The storm also hit Doboj, Banja Luka, and Zvornik in the afternoon hours.
