(Patria) – On the occasion of the Christian holiday of Good Friday, Catholic Archbishop of Jerusalem Pierbattista Pizzaballa called for prayer for all who are suffering from the coronavirus or have died from the vicious disease.
- We celebrate Good Friday, the commemoration of Jesus' death, in very difficult circumstances, said the archbishop in front of the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
Good Friday is a Christian commemoration of Jesus' suffering and death, and is celebrated on the Friday before Easter.
