Large number of healthcare workers in HNK in self-isolation

MOSTAR, (Patria) - The healthcare sector in HNK is disrupted by a large number of doctors and medical staff who are in self-isolation, both due to confirmed cases of coronavirus and for preventive reasons. Two healthcare workers from the Čitluk Health Center are in self-isolation, and four from the Čapljina Health Center. There are 74 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Čitluk.

Regarding the SKB Mostar, by the end of March, 36 employees were in self-isolation, of which two were positive for coronavirus, but without hospitalization. Since the beginning of April, 31 employees have been in self-isolation, of which 11 are positive from various departments, and one has been hospitalized.

At the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, 118 samples were tested for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Of these, nine were positive, eight in Čitluk and one in Mostar, announced the Crisis Staff of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

At the Clinic for Infectious Diseases of SKB Mostar, i.e., the "Covid" hospital, there are currently 27 patients. Nine are on ventilators, and ten are on oxygen support.
