
(Patria) - In the morning hours, reduced visibility due to fog is warned on sections in higher mountain areas, as well as in some river valleys. This morning, the frequency of vehicles on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina is lower, but as the day progresses, traffic intensity will increase.
We ask drivers to adjust their driving to the current conditions and road conditions. Maintain a distance between vehicles and be sure to use seat belts. We also appeal to other road users to be cautious and to respect traffic regulations, announced BIHAMK.
On the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons. Renovation works are underway on the main roads: Vitez-Travnik, Kladanj-Vlasenica, Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Foča-Ustikolina, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Tomsilavgrad-Šuica, Bijeljina-Rača, Čevljanovići-Nišići, and Semizovac-Srednje. At other construction sites, traffic is moving slowly.
At the border crossings: Izačić, Velika Kladuša, and Doljani, there is increased traffic frequency for vehicles exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, vehicle traffic is currently proceeding with short delays. Until the end of August, the Krstac border crossing (on the Gacko-Nikšić road) is open for passenger traffic. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.
