Today is the Day of the City of Sarajevo, and social networks are full of impressions that Sarajevans are sharing on the occasion of this day, writes the Patria News Agency.
Muhamed ef. Velić made an interesting comment on April 6, which we are sharing in its entirety.
- On April 6, 1992, on the day Bosnia and Herzegovina was recognized by the European Union, the most terrible aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina and my people began. In the beginning, it was a Serb-Montenegrin, Chetnik aggressor, supported by the JNA, and later the Ustasha-Croatian aggressor also appeared.
Bosnia and Herzegovina survived, and the Bosniak people survived with enormous sacrifices. However, the danger of this kind has not yet passed. It is the same, and from time to time it changes its forms. Bosniaks must always keep this in mind.
That danger still hangs over their heads. Therefore, cursed be every Bosniak who forgets this!
Cursed be anyone who pulls us away from remembering this aggression! Cursed be anyone who weakens us in unity and imposes divisions or anything that will threaten our strength and neutralize that memory - wrote ef. Velić.
