(Patria) - An extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament begins today at 12 PM.
The agenda includes only one item: the Bill on Amendments and Additions to the Law on the "South Interconnection Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia" Gas Pipeline - Urgent Procedure.
These are amendments and additions determined by the FBiH Government, which introduce the investor company AAFS into the law.
The South Interconnection will also have a special branch for Čapljina, which is also one of the amendments.
The Party for BiH, which has two representatives left, announced that they will not support the amendments to this law because it infringes on the Dayton Peace Agreement, and BH-Gas is being eliminated from the law as the project holder.
Chargé d'affaires of the US Embassy John Ginkel visited SDA President Bakir Izetbegović yesterday, and this party took a stance at yesterday's Presidency session that they have objections to the amendments to the law, which they will present at the session itself.
For next week, April 15th, a session of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament has also been scheduled, where these amendments to the law are expected to be considered.
It is expected that by the end of April, an intergovernmental agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia on the construction of the South Interconnection will be signed.
