Investigation underway: How and with what Velež Stadium was damaged

(Patria) - The Ministry of Interior of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton recorded a report from the Football Club Velež that on Sunday at the Rođeni Stadium in Vrapčići, damage occurred to the turf.

On Sunday, at 10 p.m., at the Mostar North Police Station, a stadium maintenance worker at Rođeni in Vrapčići reported that the turf had been damaged over a length of about 15 meters, in an unknown manner. The scene was secured until the investigation was carried out - the HNK MUP announced.

Portal N1 reports that the investigation is underway and that more information will be known later.

Earlier, Senad Kevelj, the president of Velež, told Faktor that an unknown liquid was sprayed onto the field using a drone, causing visible damage to the pitch.

- Employees recorded a drone of serious dimensions. This is not the first time; it has been happening for two months, but it is the first time that damage has been recorded on the field in the sense that the field is turning yellow - he told Faktor, Senad Kevelj.
