Match in Mostar a big test, Vogošća handball players aim for BiH championship title

Four matches, three wins and one loss, is the record of Vogošća Poljine Hills handball players in preparation for the continuation of the season in the Premier League of BiH. On Saturday, coach Goran Tomić's team had their final test match, and they defeated RK Maglaj away with a score of 36:31.

Vogošća's goalkeeper Ismar Hadžić emphasized that he is satisfied with the performance so far.

- I think we have prepared very well and can be satisfied. We had enough time to prepare as best as possible, and also to gel for what awaits us in the second part of the season - says Hadžić.

He, like everyone in the club, expects Vogošća PH to win the BiH championship title this season.

- I am optimistic because we have a very high-quality team with players who have great experience, both in our league and in international handball. In addition to the BiH championship title, I believe and hope that we can defend the Cup winner title as well, and for sure we will give our all. The very first round in the continuation next week brings us a derby against Zrinjski in Mostar, and considering that Zrinjski is playing very well this season, I can say that this match will be a real test for us - points out Hadžić, who had excellent saves for Visoko's Bosna last season, and this year is making the most of the opportunities he gets in Vogošća PH's jersey.

- First of all, I must say that it is a great honor for me to have Adnan Šabanović as my colleague in goal, from whom I can learn a lot and with whom I cooperate excellently. Of course, there is also Mirza Haseljić, and the three of us get along very well. As for me, I try to make the most of every opportunity I get and to help the team as much as possible - said Hadžić.
