The basketball match between Serbia and Turkey in Berlin was marked yesterday by an unprecedented scandal, as several Serbian fans arrived wearing shirts featuring the image of war criminal Ratko Mladić, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The shirts also bore the message “Free Mladić, Serbian hero”.
It is not known whether these fans were removed from the match, nor whether any sanctions were imposed.
Photographers from leading world agencies recorded this shameful act by Serbian fans.
