Online session of the KS Assembly soon, what has been undertaken in the fight against coronavirus

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At the initiative of the Chairman of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton Mirza Čelik, a meeting was held today with the Prime Minister of the Government Marijo Nenadić and ministers in the KS Government. On this occasion, all activities and measures taken so far in the fight against the spread of coronavirus were discussed.

All line ministries, within their jurisdictions, are making maximum efforts to respond to the new challenges they are facing, while striving to, first and foremost, help our fellow citizens.

At the next session of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, the first item to be discussed by the deputies will be the Information on coronavirus, with a special focus on the health, economic, and social sectors, it was announced at today's meeting.

According to Prime Minister Nenadić, the plans, activities, and measures regularly implemented by the Government, the Civil Protection Headquarters of KS, and the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of KS are very important.

Chairman Čelik stated that the session will be held in April, but given the clear recommendations and orders of the headquarters, it will be held online.

It is very important that this session provides answers that citizens and deputies in the KS Assembly are seeking from the legislative and executive authorities. It was agreed that the exact date of the next session will be known today, after the session of the Collegium of SKS.
