Aid from the City of Shanghai Presented to Mayor Skaka

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Aid from the City of Shanghai to the citizens of Sarajevo in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic was presented in the presence of Abdulah Skaka, Mayor of Sarajevo, and His Excellency Ji Ping, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This is a consignment of protective masks which, as confirmed by Mayor Skaka, will be immediately distributed to institutions and organizations that need them most.

The aid is the result of good relations that Sarajevo is building with the Chinese city of Shanghai, as well as its sister city Tianjin.

Ambassador Ji Ping emphasized that Sarajevo sent a message of support to Shanghai at the time when it was the epicenter of the pandemic, and expressed hope that Sarajevo will continue with a positive trend and very soon overcome this scourge.

Mayor Skaka thanked for the aid and stressed that solidarity and cooperation are the best way to overcome all challenges.
