Financial Audit Reports for 2025 Published for 27 State Institutions

(Patria) - The Audit Office of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina has published the first group of financial audit reports for 2025, covering 27 state institutions.

The results show that all audited institutions received positive opinions, but in nearly half of them, certain shortcomings were identified that the audit had to draw attention to.

Out of a total of 27 institutions, 14 received a fully positive opinion - both on financial statements and on compliance of operations with laws and regulations, without any additional warnings or remarks.

For the remaining 13 institutions, a positive opinion was issued, but with an emphasis of matter. This means that auditors identified certain deficiencies in financial reporting or in aligning activities and financial transactions with applicable legal regulations.

The first group of published reports includes: the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Institution of the Consumer Protection Ombudsman in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertise, the Police Support Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Personal Data Protection Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the State Service Appeals Board, the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Agency for Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education, the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance, and the Centre for Information and Recognition of Documents in the Field of Higher Education.

Also included are the Directorate for Economic Planning, the Directorate for European Integration, the Competition Council, the Concessions Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Anti-Doping Control Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Accreditation Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Intellectual Property Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Standardisation Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the State Regulatory Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety, the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Centre, the Office of the Coordinator for Public Administration Reform, and the Office for Harmonisation and Coordination of Payment Systems in Agriculture, Food and Rural Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
