First-graders enrollment in KS from April 1 to 30, documentation to be submitted later

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The total number of positive cases for coronavirus in KS is 24, and a total of 272 people have been tested in the Sarajevo Canton. More intensive testing began in the last 24 hours, yesterday 61 were tested.

„It is encouraging that three hospitalizations have been registered, stable without severe clinical presentation,“ said Pilav, emphasizing that the virus in KS, at least as far as has been shown so far, does not cause a severe clinical presentation. 

The number of people in self-isolation is 1,962, and 1,152 have already completed self-isolation.

„The biggest problem is that our fellow citizens do not respect self-isolation. The flu virus is still present. We have enough tests, we are conducting accelerated testing for first-line contacts,“ said Pilav. 

After 14 days, if there are no symptoms, the isolation period has passed.

The Minister of Education of KS, Anis Krivić, said that they are trying to find an optimal solution for calculating fees for March and April regarding kindergartens.

„We will inform the public about the achieved and agreed position. We expect online classes in preschool institutions to start this week. Educator training is currently underway, who will conduct classes in preschool institutions. Regarding enrollment in the first grade, the Ministry of Education decided that enrollment will take place in the regular period from April 1 to April 30, in a way that parents will submit an electronic application, and documentation will be submitted later. The call will be explained in detail and published on all school websites and by the schools. We will publish detailed information during the day," said Krivić.
