UNSA to promote 42 Doctors of Science tonight

(Patria) - The University of Sarajevo will hold a promotion ceremony for its Doctors of Science tonight at the National Theatre Sarajevo, starting at 6:00 PM.

The Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Tarik Zaimović, along with vice-rectors and deans of the faculties, will promote 42 candidates to the degree of Doctor of Science.

Striving towards a knowledge-based society, the University of Sarajevo will promote:

• 7 candidates to the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences;

• 6 candidates to the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences;

• 3 candidates each to the degree of Doctor of Security Sciences, Criminological Sciences, Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences;

• 2 candidates each to the degree of Doctor of Educational Sciences and Legal Sciences; and

• 1 candidate each to the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Communication Sciences, Political Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Psychological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Doctor of Science in the field of Social/Humanities Sciences, area of Educational Sciences and Pedagogy.
