SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The University of Sarajevo informs the public that a grossly forged/falsified Decision of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo on the implementation of the teaching process during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has appeared in the media and on social networks (as well as other electronic communications), containing false information about the suspension of classes and the cancellation of all exams, the University of Sarajevo announced.
"Such an act of spreading fake news causes great harm to the University of Sarajevo, especially to its students and employees. Immediately upon receiving this forged decision, the University of Sarajevo republished on its website the original Decision and Conclusions regarding the modified teaching regime at the University of Sarajevo, and informed the Operations Center of the Federal Police Administration of this act," they added.
The valid Decisions and Conclusions of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo on the implementation of the teaching process during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic are available on the University's website - HERE
"We draw the attention of interested parties to verify the actual factual situation with the Public Relations Service of the University of Sarajevo before publishing or transmitting news about the teaching process at the University of Sarajevo, in order to avoid spreading inaccurate news and causing additional unrest among students in this extremely challenging situation," said UNSA.
