United prepared £12 million for Begović!

Manchester United wants to see Bosnian national team player Asmir Begović in their ranks, writes the British newspaper Daily Mail, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Namely, Stoke United's goalkeeper has been monitored for a long time by Manchester United's goalkeeping coach Kris Woods, and he was present at a match a few days ago, in which Begović kept his net against Arsenal.

The Bosnian international, as the newspaper states, was already on the radar of former coach Alex Ferguson a year ago, but at that time, the rise in form of Manchester's current first goalkeeper David De Gea meant that a £12 million offer for Begović was put on hold.

The British newspaper writes that City and Liverpool are also interested in Begović, but Begović has emphasized that he only wants to go to a club where he will be the first-choice goalkeeper.

United, allegedly, is not dissatisfied with De Gea's performance, but wants to strengthen competition in all positions, and the current goalkeeper of the "Red Devils" does not see "danger" in the current second goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.

As they point out, Stoke is asking for £15 million for Begović, but they are ready to negotiate, reports NAP.
