The artistic trio HAD has begun painting a mural on the walls of the Square of Srebrenica Victims in the center of Visoko, which will commemorate all the victims of Srebrenica killed in the genocide committed in 1995 in eastern Bosnia, writes the news agency Patria.
Artists Muhamed Bešlagić Hamo, Anel Lepić, and Damir Sarač are using the Wallcut technique - carving a photograph into the wall surface, where they create a relief representation through the relationship of removed and unremoved parts on the wall.
The suffering in Srebrenica in July 1995 will dominate the walls of the new promenade in Visoko. The walls will be illuminated, which will make the mural particularly interesting during the night, writes NAP.
