Nikšić Appoints Advisor Dervišagić to Commission for Election and Appointment of Supervisory Board Members Instead of Huseinović-Ajanović

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH, led by Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, has dismissed Arijana Huseinović Ajanović from the position of president of the Commission for Election and Appointment of Supervisory Board Members of public companies in which the Federation of BiH has a share, and appointed Edin Dervišagić. Incidentally, Dervišagić became advisor to Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić a few months ago, and is also a member of the Presidency of the SDP and the general secretary of the SDP.

Arijana Huseinović Ajanović is the head of Nermin Nikšić's cabinet who is under court orders prohibiting her from performing her duties and communicating with Nikšić and several other individuals.

The Special Department of the Supreme Court of the FBiH has twice imposed prohibitive measures on the suspects in the "Spengavanje" affair: Vahidin Munjić, Muhamed Ohranović, Ervin Mušinović, and Arijana Huseinović-Ajanović, thereby confirming the grounds for suspicion that the suspects committed several corrupt criminal offenses such as Abuse of Official Position or Authority under Article 383 of the Criminal Code of the FBiH and others.

The court first imposed the prohibitive measures on November 14, and after the defense attorneys' appeal was accepted, the Supreme Court of the FBiH reconsidered and imposed prohibitive measures, specifically prohibiting the undertaking of certain business activities or official duties.

Regarding this Commission, it is responsible for proposing members of the supervisory boards of companies owned by the Government of the FBiH.
