SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Mario Nenadić, Prime Minister of KS, said that there are 15 positive cases in KS, including one death. He reminded that WHO declared a global pandemic on March 11 and since then numerous measures have been taken in the fight against coronavirus.
Speaking about the situation with migrants, he said that citizens can report if they know where migrants are accommodated in Sarajevo in private residences. Around 400 migrants were relocated to Blažuj in yesterday alone.
He noted that some social benefits will be increased, while all benefits that are paid out will be settled regularly without delay.
"Starting yesterday, we are procuring ventilators and other equipment with UNDP, we are trying to arrange a large procurement of medical and sanitary materials worth 6.5 million KM," said Nenadić.
The Prime Minister emphasized that salaries in the public sector are not in question, but that discussions with trade unions will follow.
He said that upon the return of BiH citizens from Italy, 18 people were sent to quarantine at the Student Dormitory in Bjelave.
"Testing will continue tomorrow," said Nenadić.
Capacities for accommodating a larger number of people are being created in Suhodol, and the Skenderija center also remains a possibility.
