A 63-year-old man was recently arrested in Canada, accused of cashing stolen checks worth $13,000. Interestingly, the fraudster was arrested with a ticket to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as he revealed to the police, he planned to flee to our country with this money.
However, instead of ending up in our country, he ended up behind bars. He is accused of defrauding more than 20 people, but it is not yet known why he bought a ticket specifically for BiH. The police found a one-way ticket, which means he planned to stay in BiH for a longer period.
Also, the unnamed fraudster is accused of possession of stolen property and forgery of documents.
