Ibro Berilo, Adis Mulaosmanović, Edina Džigal and Nađa Milišić Arrested, Transactions Worth 610,000 KM Suspended

(Patria) - As part of the operation codenamed "Incitat", the Mayor of Trnovo Municipality FBiH Ibro Berilo was arrested, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office announced.

Along with Berilo, Adis Mulaosmanović, Edina Džigal and Nađa Milišić have been arrested so far.

"Since the suspect Ibro Berilo was arrested at the University Clinical Center, he will be questioned by the prosecutor in that health facility during the day," the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office stated.

Activities are ongoing, according to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) announced that as part of the operational action "INCITAT", SIPA police officers, through commercial banks, temporarily suspended transactions in various currencies and a share in an investment fund amounting to 610,000 KM.

Four persons have been deprived of liberty, and they will undergo criminal processing and questioning as suspects during the day.

The further status of the persons will be decided by the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.

Searches of business and residential premises and movable property are still ongoing; so far, a large amount of business documentation, mobile phones and computers have been discovered and temporarily seized.

In the case, SIPA police officers submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton a Report on the committed criminal offense and a supplement to the Report, within which four natural persons and one legal entity were reported, due to reasonable suspicion that they committed the criminal offenses of "Associating for the Purpose of Committing Criminal Offenses", "Abuse of Position or Authority" and "Money Laundering" as prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SIPA stated.

We remind you that it was previously reported that police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency are conducting today (August 5, 2024) the operational action "Incitat" as part of which they are searching business and residential premises and movable property at 12 locations in the area of Sarajevo Canton. Among other things, searches are underway of the premises of the Trnovo municipality and the legal entity "LOK-PIL" doo Sarajevo.
