Dealers arrested and handed over to the KS Prosecutor's Office: One of the largest drug seizures preceded by police investigation activities

(Patria) - Haris Mujčinović (46) and Almir Zeherović (50), arrested in two separate operations in which more than 100 kg of narcotics were found, have been handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of Canton Sarajevo.

Mujčinović was arrested in the operational action "Taxi" and is suspected of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs, as well as unauthorized possession and carrying of weapons and ammunition.

As stated to the media today by the spokesperson of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, Mersiha Novalić, the operational action Taxi had been prepared for a longer period, and the operation itself was preceded by investigative activities.

"During targeted searches carried out in the area of Stari Grad in the suspect's residential building and accompanying facilities, more than 100 kg of various narcotics, weapons, and ammunition were found. The market value of the found drugs is over one million KM," said Novalić.

Speaking about the second operation, Keši 2, Novalić said that it is a continuation of an operation from last year.
