(Patria) - A fire at the Barane-Lopate location near Stolac was extinguished around 7 a.m. this morning, the Operations Center of Civil Protection (OCCZ) of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) reported.
In the fire, which broke out on July 24, 500 hectares of grass, low and high vegetation burned.
In the area of Mostar, firefighters had ten interventions in the last 24 hours. In most cases, waste, grass and high vegetation were burning.
In the area of Čapljina, firefighters had four interventions. Forest, grass and low vegetation were burning, as well as a motorcycle in Ulica hrvatskih branitelja, according to, among others, the report of the OCCZ HNK.
